Masternaut delivers substantial cost savings to Currie European

Leeds, UK, 16 September 2009 - Leading international transport company Currie European is gaining major benefits across its business from an innovative live fleet tracking solution that enables the company to manage and monitor vehicles both in the UK and on the continent. Since installing the Masternaut Three X system just one year ago, Currie European has substantially reduced operational costs with efficiency improvements, while maintaining service excellence. The system is also delivering a competitive edge for winning new business.

Each truck and trailer in the Currie European fleet is equipped with discrete tracking that is monitored via the web. The real-time, web-based service integrates with a Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The system enables the company to provide customers with instant real-time information about their freight. There is no need to call drivers to find their location and ETA and then go back to the customer.

With this technology in place, Currie European has seen the door of opportunity opening for new business - often in sectors where the company had no previous success.
